To encourage a little friendly competition, our A+ Coordinator and Magnet Coordinator came up with a system in 2015 to award and recognize teachers for integration of the Core and Encore subjects. When Core Teachers make a direct connection with one of the Arts Subjects in their lesson plans, they should email the A+ Coordinator the evidence, and then they will receive an A+ Tiger Paw High Five for their classroom door. The teacher with the most A+ Tiger Paw High Fives at the end of the school year will receive a prize. Teachers will receive a jean day pass for every 5 A+ Tiger Paw High Fives they earn.
